anglais. The development of farming enterprises is an important trend of the Tambov region's agricultural sector. It was revealed that scientifically based recommendations that are suitable for practical use, to optimize the use of production resources in farming enterprises are absent. The influence of the main production resources on the performance of farms in the Tambov region was investigated. Statistical base of the research consists of monitoring results of farming enterprises performance carried out by the authors in the Tambov region during 2001-2016. As a result of the research, a production function has been obtained that describes the impact of the main production resources used in the farming enterprises of the Tambov Region on revenues from the sale of agricultural products: cultivated land surface; number of machinery in the farming enterprises (caterpillar and wheeled tractors, combine harvesters and trucks); fuel price; spare parts price; seeds price; fertilizers and other materials price; costs of third party organizations services; number of employees in the farming enterprise. The calculations revealed that 89% of the variations in the resultant variable can be explained by the production resources listed above. First, it results that all production function coefficients are positive and equal in sum to 1,073, which means an increasing scale effect. Secondly, taking this amount for 100%, it can be argued that the weight of the influence of such factors as the supply of machinery and fuel and lubricants to increase gross revenues from the sale of agricultural products is a total of 47.9%. Conclusion: it is these two factors that now largely determine the results of farm operations.

russe. Развитие фермерских хозяйств является важнейшим направлением в аграрном секторе Тамбовской области. Выявлено отсутствие пригодных для практического использования научно обоснованных рекомендаций, позволяющих оптимизировать использование имеющихся в фермерских хозяйствах производственных ресурсов. Исследовали влияние основных производственных ресурсов на результаты деятельности фермерских хозяйств Тамбовской области. Статистическую базу исследования составили данные мониторинга деятельности фермерских хозяйств Тамбовской области, проведенного авторами в 2001-2016 гг. В результате получена производственная функция, описывающая влияние на выручку от реализации с.-х. продукции основных производственных ресурсов, используемых в фермерских хозяйствах Тамбовской области: площади пашни; количества техники в хозяйстве (тракторы гусеничные и колесные, зерноуборочные комбайны и грузовые автомобили); затрат на приобретение топливно-смазочных материалов; затрат на приобретение запасных частей; затрат на приобретение семян, удобрений и прочих материалов и на оплату услуг сторонних организаций; количества работников в хозяйстве. Проведенные расчеты позволяют утверждать, что 89% вариаций результирующей переменной объясняется указанными факторами - ресурсами производства. Все коэффициенты производственной функции положительные, сумма их составляет 1,073, что означает возрастающий эффект масштаба. Принимая эту сумму за 100%, можно утверждать, что весомость влияния на увеличение валовой выручки от реализации с.-х. продукции таких факторов как обеспеченность техникой и топливно-смазочными материалами составляет в общей сложности 47,9%. Вывод: именно эти два фактора в настоящее время во многом предопределяют экономические результаты деятельности фермерских хозяйств.
