Productive and breeding qualities of semi-coarse wool and coarse-wool sheep of the Trans-Baikal Region | Продуктивные и племенные качества полугрубошерстных и грубошерстных овец Забайкальского края

The results of the analysis of the breeding foundation of semi-coarse wool sheep and coarse-wool sheep in the agricultural enterprises of the Trans-Baikal Region and its changes for 2012-2016 are discussed. Semi-coarse wool sheep breeding is a new trend in the sheep breeding of the Russian Federation; it is represented by two breeds – Buryat and Aginskaya. The number of semi-coarse wool pedigree sheep of the Aginskaya breed at the beginning of 2017 is 21.2 thousand heads; coarse-wool sheep – 2.1 thousand heads. In the structure of the total flock bred in the Region, there is increased proportion of the Aginskaya breed and simultaneous decreased proportion of the Edilbaev breed. The breeding foundation of the Region is represented by 1 breeding plant and 2 pedigree reproducers for the breeding of the Aginskaya sheep, and 1 pedigree reproducer for the Edilbaev breed. The average live weight of semi-coarse wool stud-rams at the beginning of 2016 was 93 kg; that of replacement rams – 49 kg; ewes – 56 kg and gimmers – 40 kg; those of coarse-wool sheep made 119, 87 and 42 kg respectively. Clean wool clip amounted to 2.8; 1.5; 2.0; 1.1 kg and 2.1; 1.6; 2.0 kg respectively. In terms of quality ranking, the semi-coarse and coarse-wool sheep stocks breeding farms meet the requirements imposed on them. The breeding foundation of the Edilbaev breed should be preserved and maintained.

russe. Представлены результаты анализа племенной базы полугрубошерстных и грубошерстных овец в с.-х. организациях Забайкальского края и ее изменений за 2012-2016 гг. Полугрубошерстное овцеводство – новое направление в овцеводстве Российской Федерации, представленное двумя породами – бурятской и агинской. Численность полугрубошерстных племенных овец агинской породы на начало 2017 г. составляет 21,2 тыс. гол., грубошерстных – 2,1 тыс. гол. В структуре общего поголовья овец, разводимых в крае, отмечается рост удельного веса животных агинской породы и одновременное снижение особей эдильбаевской породы. Племенная база региона представлена 1 племенным заводом, 2 племенными репродукторами по разведению овец агинской породы и 1 племенным репродуктором по разведению овец эдильбаевской породы. Средняя живая масса полугрубошерстных баранов-производителей на начало 2016 г. составляет 93 кг, ремонтных баранов – 49 кг, маток – 56 кг и ярок – 40 кг, грубошерстных – 119, 87 и 42 кг; настриг чистой шерсти – 2,8; 1,5; 2,0; 1,1 кг и 2,1; 1,6; 2,0 кг соответственно. По качественному составу поголовья полугрубошерстных и грубошерстных овец племенные хозяйства отвечают предъявляемым к ним требованиям. Племенную базу овец эдильбаевской породы следует сохранять и поддерживать.
