Therefore, it is necessary to explore their own hidden reserves of plant development to increase the germination of their seeds, germination growth, productivity and yield of future agricultural products. When wet seeds are affected with physical factors, there is a mobilization of forces and the release of energy reserves of the plant, it stimulate physiological and biochemical processes in the early stages of seed germination. The most effective for seed irradiation s is laser radiation in a pulsed mode with a wavelength within 400...700 nm, with a power of 105...108 W, with 50...100 flashes per pulse. Experiments were carried out to study the increase in the chromosomal mutations frequency in dry and moistened cucumber seeds of the 'Vodoley' variety, also at different laser radiation power. The processed seeds were germinated to a certain length of roots, and then cytogenetic analysis of chromosomal disorders was carried out on the roots. The maximum occurence of chromosomal mutations is observed in wet seeds treated with laser radiation with a power of 60 W. In this case, plants grown from these seeds have a large number of economically valuable features. For seeds of each species, it is possible to find the optimal treatment regimen, which will stimulate plant development and penetration of economically valuable traits, which can be transmitted to the next plant generations.

russe. Острой является проблема создания ценного исходного материала для селекции новых сортов. Поэтому необходимо исследовать собственные скрытые резервы развития растений для увеличения всхожести их семян, роста проростков, продуктивности и урожайности будущей с.-х. продукции. При физическом воздействии на влажные семена происходит мобилизация сил и высвобождение энергетических резервов организма, активируются физиолого-биохимические процессы на ранних этапах прорастания семян. Чем больше воды находится в клетке, тем неподвижней в ней молекула ДНК и тем более уязвимы составляющие ее гены. Наиболее эффективным при облучении семян является лазерное излучение импульсного режима с длиной волны в пределах 400…700 нм, мощностью 105…108 Вт, с 50…100 вспышками в импульсе. Проведены опыты по исследованию частоты хромосомных мутаций у сухих и увлажненных семян огурца сорта "Водолей", в т. ч. при различной мощности лазерного излучения. Обработанные семена проращивались до определенной длины корней, а затем на корешках проводили цитогенетический анализ хромосомных нарушений. Максимальная частота хромосомных мутаций наблюдается у влажных семян, обработанных лазерным излучением мощностью 60 Вт. В этом случае у растений, выросших из этих семян, появляется большое количество хозяйственно ценных признаков. Для каждого вида семян можно найти оптимальный режим обработки, стимулирующий развитие растений и проявление хозяйственно ценных признаков, которые могут передаваться следующим поколениям растений.
