Introduction of the Guizotia abyssinica Cass crop in the Middle Volga region | Интродукция культуры Guizotia abyssinica Cass в условиях Средневолжского региона

anglais. The purpose of the research was to test the Guizotia аbyssinica in the contrasting climatic conditions of the Middle Volga region. Studies were conducted in in 2015–2017 in Penza region. Accounting, analyses and observations were carried out according to the requirements of the Methodical instructions for the study of the world collection of oilseeds (1976). The meteorological conditions during the period of vegetation were favorable for the growth and development of this crop with moderate irrigation: hydrotermic coefficient of 1.05, average daily temperature – 19.6–21.3 deg C. The vegetation period of this crop was 111–125 days. The crop yield was on average 1.64 t/ha during the period of 2015–2017. Seeds of Guizotia contains up to 43% of pleasant to taste and aromatic oil, which is used for food and technical purposes. According to biological properties, Guizotia is characterized by resistance to drought and high temperatures, as well as high responsiveness to additional hydration. The fat content in the seeds of Guizotia varied within the range 39.6–41.6%. The seeds of Guizotia were quite large, thousand-seed weight was 3.12–3.62 g. Analysis of the crop structure showed that the productivity of one plant was 3.96–16.49 g, the coefficient of variation was 33.5%. The main component of the fatty acid composition of the Guizotia abyssinica oil is polyunsaturated fatty acid – linoleic, the content of which reaches a high value of 79.17%. The content of oleic acid is low (5.26%), and linolenic – 1.21%. There is no erucic acid in the seeds. Throughout the years of testing, the Guizotia has proved to be a highly productive, plastic oilseed crop. The new introduced crop Guizotia can find wide application not only in the Middle Volga region, but also in other regions of Russia. Including Guizotia аbyssinica to the field crops list will allow to expand the opportunities for rotation crops of different nature and to expand the number of used oil-bearing crops and their raw materials in production.

russe. Цель исследований – испытание гвизоции абиссинской (Guizotia abissinica Cass) в контрастных климатических условиях Среднего Поволжья (Пензенская обл.). Исследования проводили в 2015–2017 гг. Все наблюдения и учеты вели в соответствии с методическими рекомендациями по изучению мировой коллекции масличных культур. Метеорологические условия периода вегетации гвизоции были благоприятными для роста и развития культуры с умеренным увлажнением – ГТК – 1,05 при среднесуточных температурах – 19,6–21,3 град. С. Вегетационный период культуры – 111–125 дней. В среднем за 2015–2017 гг. урожайность культуры составляла 1,64 т/га. Содержание жира в семенах гвизоции варьировало в пределах 39,6–41,6%. Семена гвизоции крупные, масса тысячи семян – 3,12–3,62 г. Продуктивность одного растения – 3,96–16,49 г. (коэффициент вариации – 33,5%). Основной компонент жирнокислотного состава масла гвизоции абиссинской – полиненасыщенная жирная кислота – линолевая, содержание которой достигает 79,17%. Содержание олеиновой и линоленовой кислот низкое и составляет 5,26 и 1,21% соответственно. Эруковая кислота в семенах отсутствует. Во все годы испытаний гвизоция проявила себя как высокопродуктивная, пластичная масличная культура. Гвизоция рекомендуется к применению не только в условиях Среднего Поволжья, но и в других регионах России. Включение гвизоции абиссинской в состав полевых культур позволит расширить возможности чередования культур различной природы и расширить масличный и сырьевой конвейеры.
