It is believed that reducing the yield gap between organic and conventional agriculture can only be a matter of time, and that organic farming can lead to greater spatial stability of the biotic and abiotic properties of soil and soil processes. Therefore the aim of the work is to demonstrate and test some soil conditioners and fertilizers suitable for organic farm system. In Skriveri during 2018 and 2019 the acid soil conditioner Physio Max 975 (250 kg haE−1) and humic acid soil conditioner LifeForce (260 kg haE−1) were tested in winter triticale and oats. The seaweed extract Kelpak in 3 mL LE−1 water was also used in the triticale, with leaf treatment during the peeling and stalking phases. In the late red clover “Divaja” granulated chicken manure (530 kg haE−1) and humic acid soil conditioner LifeForce (260 kg haE−1) were applied in spring 2018 at the start of vegetation. The triticale grain yield ranged from 2.39 t haE−1 without the use of soil conditioners to 2.72 t haE−1 in the plots with humic acid soil improver (p = 0.073 is greater than 0.05). The yield of oats ranged from 1.03 t haE−1 to 1.14 t haE−1 without a significant difference (p = 0.381is greater than 0.05). Thousand grain weight of oats in all variants were the same – 36 g, but the volume weight ranged from 501 to 509 g LE−1. The thousand grains of triticale weighed 40−41 g and had a volume weight of 708 to 710 g LE−1. In the dry and hot weather conditions during the red clover flowering period in both trial years, the medium late red clover produced a small amount of seed. Without soil improvers red clover produced 19.9 kg haE−1 conditioned seed. Significantly more seeds were harvested in variants with Physio Max 975 − 32.2 kg haE−1 and the highest yield was obtained with granulated poultry manure which was 33.9 kg haE−1 seed (p = 0.00005 is less than 0.05). The results of two years show that soil improvers affect the yield of field crops, but the effectiveness varied from crop to crop.
