The biosynthesis of mannoproteins and morpho-cultural properties of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-18 under the influence of nanoparticles TiO2

The article contains the data on the effect of TiO2 nanoparticles on the growth and development of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNMN-Y-18. The results indicate the absence of negative effects caused by TiO2 nanoparticles (40 nm), in concentrations of 10-30 mg/L on the potential of mannoproteins biosynthesis and the morpho-cultural properties of the strain. A similarity in the average cell size and colony morphology in the control and samples using nanoparticles of titanium dioxide was found. A high correlation between the area of cells and the amount of mannoproteins in yeast was established at the cultivation in the presence of TiO2 nanoparticles. The obtained results make it possible to recommend the use of TiO2 nanoparticles in the biotechnology of yeast cultivation in order to obtain active components. 32 references, 2 tables, 6 figures
