This research studied the relationship and effect of the inclusion of mycotoxin adsorbent “Primix Al-fasorb” in the diets of boars of different breeds on quantitative and qualitative sperm indices according to the data collected during the six-month period. The research was carried out at the State Enterprise for Pig Breeding and Hy-bridization “Moldsuinhibrid” in the period 18.03-06.08.2014. For the experiment, four groups of boars were selected and formed: 1. Landrace, 2. Yorkshire, 3. Duroc and 4. Pietrain breeds. It was found that the sperm of the Pietrain boars differed from other breeds in a larger amount of ejaculate, and after the inclusion of the adsorbent, in the third period the highest concentration of spermatozoa was observed (11.72% more compared to the first period). In general, the studies have shown that breeding boars were characterized by higher sexual activity, produced sperm of greater volume, higher concentration and mobility due to the inclusion of the adsorbing mycotoxin additive.
