Het nieuwe telen biologisch : Monitoring van een energiezuinige biologische vruchtgroententeelt bij BioVerbeek

Op een biologisch glastuinbouwbedrijf wordt de luchtvochtigheid beheerst door opgewarmde buitenlucht via slurven tussen het gewas te blazen. Na 2 jaar monitoring is gebleken dat het hiermee mogelijk is om intensiever te schermen en meer dan 20% op de warmtevraag besparen. Een deel van deze besparing is te danken aan regain units. Mede dankzij het diffuse glas in het kasdek is de productie hoger dan in een vergelijkbare kas. On an organic greenhouse the humidity is controlled by blowing warmed up outdoor air through the crop. 2 years of monitoring has shown that it is possible to use the screens more intensively and save over 20% on the heat demand. A part of these savings is due to regain units. Thanks to the diffuse glass on top of the greenhouse, the production is higher than in a comparable greenhouse.
