Parasitic fauna of gastrointestinal tract of domestic goats on the territory of Moscow region | Паразитофауна желудочно-кишечного тракта домашних коз на территории Московского региона

The purpose of the research is to study the parasitic fauna of the gastrointestinal tract of domestic goats in the Moscow region with the approbation of a standard treatment for identified types of pathogens of nematodoses. 56 adult domestic goats have been studied in the Moscow Region in the summer-autumn period. The animals were managed according to stabling and grazing system. 98 fecal samples were examined for the presence of gastrointestinal parasites by the flotation method with a solution of ammonium nitrate, formalin-ether precipitation, the Berman method. The treatment regimens was applied to 11 goats on which eggs of the fam. Strongylidae were detected in feces samples, 4 - with Nematodirus spp., 6 goats with combined infection of fam. Strongylidae and Trichuris spp. Therapy was performed with fenbendazole at a dose of 10 mg/kg for 5 days. When the efficiency was low, fenbendazole was repeated at a dose of 20 mg/kg 5 days. After treatment, feces were examined after 10, 30 and 90 days. Domestic goats in the Moscow region were infected by the following patogens: nematodes fam. Strongylidae with extensive infection (EI) 44.6%, nematode Trichuris spp., EI 10.7%, Nematodirus spp. EI 3.6%, coccidioses Eimeria spp., EI 26.8% and Giardia spp., EI 3.6%. No trematode eggs or cestodes were found. The therapy with fenbendazole at a dose of 10 mg/kg within 5 days showed the 100% efficiency at strongylatosis and nematodirosis. Such dose was ineffective when a goat was parasitized by Trichuris spp. When the fenbendazole dose was increased to 20 mg/kg within 5 days, 100% efficiency was obtained. All goats remained free from nematodes on the 30th and 90th days after the therapy according the results of coprological studies. An autopsy of one goat showed no parasites after the treatment. Fenbendazole remains an effective medication in treating gastrointestinal nematodosis of the goat.

Цель исследования – изучение паразитофауны желудочно-кишечного тракта домашних коз на территории Московской области с апробацией стандартной схемы терапии выявленных видов возбудителей нематодозов. Исследовано 56 взрослых домашних коз в летне-осенний период. Содержание животных – пастбищно-стойловое. Исследовано 98 проб фекалий на наличие желудочно-кишечных паразитов флотационным методом с использованием раствора аммиачной селитры, формалин-эфирным осаждением, методом Бермана. 11 козам с обнаруженными яйцами сем. Strongylidae в пробах фекалий, 4 – с Nematodirus spp., 6 – с сочетанной инвазией сем. Strongylidae и Trichuris spp. задавали фенбендазол в дозе 10 мг/кг 5 сут подряд. При низкой эффективности повторяли дачу фенбендазола в дозе 20 мг/кг 5 сут. Фекалии исследовали через 10, 30 и 90 сут после дегельминтизации. У домашних коз были зарегистрированы нематоды сем. Strongylidae с экстенсивностью инвазии (ЭИ) 44,6%, нематоды Trichuris spp., ЭИ 10,7%, Nematodirus spp., ЭИ 3,6%, кокцидиозы Eimeria spp., ЭИ 26,8% и Giardia spp., ЭИ 3,6%. Яйца трематод и цестод обнаружены не были. Терапия фенбендазолом в дозе 10 мг/кг в течение 5 сут показала 100%-ную эффективность при стронгилятозах и нематодирозе желудочно-кишечного тракта коз. Эта доза была неэффективна при паразитировании Trichuris spp. При повышении дозы фенбендазола до 20 мг/кг в течение 5 сут установлена 100%-ная эффективность. Все козы оставались свободными от нематод на 30-е и 90-е сутки после проведенной терапии по результатам копрологических исследований. При вскрытии одной козы кишечные паразиты после лечения обнаружены не были. Фенбендазол остается эффективным препаратом при лечении нематодозов желудочно-кишечного тракта коз.
