Адаптивный потенциал сортов картофеля белорусской и зарубежной селекции в условиях западного региона Республики Беларусь / Adaptive potential of potatoes varieties of Belarusian and foreign breeding in the conditions of western region of the Republic of Belarus

The research results of the assessment of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum) varieties by a set of economically valuable traits in the conditions of western region of the Republic of Belarus are presented. Environmental testing of potato varieties was carried out on the experimental field of the Grodno Zonal Institute of Plant Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Shchuchin (Belarus) in 2018–2019. The soil of the plot is sod-podzolic, sandy loam, underlain from a depth of 0.7 m by moraine loam. Varieties were characterized and distinguished by productivity, starchiness, adaptability coefficient, resistance to the most common pathogens and the taste qualities of the studied varieties were evaluated. As a research result, it was found that for cultivation in the conditions of the western region of Belarus for food purposes it is possible to recommend early ripe varieties Colomba (the Netherlands), Ovation (Poland); medium early varieties Mastak (Belarus), Typhoon (Poland); medium ripe Guarantee (Belarus); medium late variety Rubin (Belarus). / Представлены результаты исследований по оценке сортов картофеля по комплексу хозяйственно ценных признаков в условиях западного региона Республики Беларусь. Экологическое испытание сортов картофеля проводилось на опытном поле РУНП «Гродненский зональный институт растениеводства Национальной академии наук Беларуси» в 2018–2019 гг. Почва участка дерново-подзолистая, супесчаная, подстилаемая с глубины 0,7 м моренным суглинком. Охарактеризованы и выделены сорта по урожайности, крахмалистости, генам, дана оценка вкусовым качествам изучаемых сортов. В ходе исследований установлено, что для возделывания на продовольственные цели в условиях западного региона Беларуси можно рекомендовать раннеспелые сорта – Коломба (Нидерланды), Овация (Польша); среднеранние – Мастак (Беларусь), Тайфун (Польша); среднеспелый – Гарантия (Беларусь); среднепоздний – Рубин (Беларусь).
