Examination of the flour of corn zoned in Kolkheti and Iveria lowland, also of canned sweet corn produced from imported corn.

The productivity of maize flour produced from the varieties of maize (Kolkheti and Kvemo Kartli landscapes ("Ajameti tetri", "kartuli Krugi", "Kviteli Kazha") is studied. Based on basic methods research it can be concluded that the products obtained from all the three varieties are useful, although by the mineral and biochemical parameters the best are the "Ajameti Tetri" and "Kartuli Krugi", As for the "Kviteli Kazha", its qualitative properties are relatively low. Also, the content of heavy metals (Pb, As, Cd, Hg) is close to the permissible concentration, which is caused by irreversible anthropogenic processes. Sweet canned corn Coopoliva and Supremo are within the standard range. However, biologically active substances were found to be more abundant in the locally produced canned sweet corn.
