The history of artificial cultivation of inconnu Stenodus leucichthys nelma from the first works in the fifties of the last century till the present days is summarized. The revue comprises data on the development of spawn incubation biotechnology, fry rearing in ponds, rearing lakes, and on industrial conditions.
