As exemplified by the advanced farms, the use of digital technologies in the foundation of the modern systems of farmmanagement and optimization enables farmers to collect information that informs proficient decision making, optimize resourcesand lower the prime cost of the goods. In terms of farming efficiency, the Russian Federation falls behind the countries that usedigital- and knowledge-intense methods of management. In order to catch up with the current level of farm labor efficiency,Russian farming needs direct support from those farmers that master knowledge-intense technology and equipment. This canmake Russian farming competitive and increase its investment attractiveness.
