Carcass information of 1,858 of Kamphaeng Saen (KPS) steers raised by 24 farms, which are the members of KU Kamphaeng Saen Campus Beef Producer Cooperative Ltd., were collected during 2011?January 2019 and then used for carcass characteristics and quality comparative study. Steers were classified into 3 groups as 1) 538 steers from the KPS performance-tested bulls, 2) 448 steers from KPS bulls of the farmers and 3) 872 non-pedigree steers. Average warm carcass weight of the steers was 334.74, 328.39 and 328.64 kg and average carcass percentage was 60.98, 61.16, and 59.60 percent, respectively. It was found that steers from the KPS performance-tested bulls and farmer's bulls had better carcass characteristics, quality and price than the non-pedigree steers. Five of performance-tested bulls which had good phenotype for producing of feedlot steers were P. Petch-noi 4814 D4 M0207, SD 5444 D2 M1186, BF Liam 5257 D2 M0931, BF Phanat 5203 D2 M0856 and KU PR 44023 D3 M0679. Five of farmer?s bulls were CC 53072, BGM 369, AN 167, MK 001 and SAC 47011 D1 M0668. From this comparative study, it can be concluded that the fattening stees from pedigree KPS bulls had better-recognized carcass quality and made more profit to the farmer than those from the non-pedigree breeders
