Determination of botanical composition and yield potential of natural pastures vegetation in Govelek Village of Van

This study was conducted in Govelek Village of Van province in 2014. In this study; botanical composition, pasture productivity and status was determined. Lup method was used for determinetion of pasture vegetation. The vegetation study results were identified of 91.56% rate in the area covered by plants, Poaceae 26.67%, Fabaceae 11.91% and 53.62 % Fabaceae family from other plants. Pasture yield was determined as 569 kg/ha. Good quality plants found 25.5% in pasture sand pasture have been identified as the weak pasture.
