The effect of different doses nitrogen and farm manures on the yield and yield components in wheat
2014
Efe, A.
In this study, the effects of nitrogen doses (0, 4, 8, 12 and 16 kg N/da with sowing and 6 kg N/da top fertilizer with tillering season except control plots in total 0, 10, 14, 18 and 22 kg/da N) under the condition with farm manure (2 tones/da) and without farm manure on yield and yield components of Ceyhan-99 wheat cultivar was investigated.Experiment was laid out in Split Plots Design in Randomized Blocks with three replicates at the fields of Mardin Artuklu University, Kızıltepe Vocational High School in 2012-13 growing season. In the study, it was investigated the effect of nitrogen and farm manure doses on the effects plant height, spike length, number of spikelet, seeds per spike, number of tiller, 1000 seed weight, biological yield, seed yield per unit, harvest index, and protein ratio in seeds. The results of the study indicated that nitrogen and farm manure applications increased significantly the seed yield and yield components. While the highest seed yield (517.7 kg/da) was obtained from 2 tones/da farm manure + 22 kg/da nitrogen application, the lowest seed yield (360.4 kg/da) was obtained from control plots.
