Also medicinal plants are dietary supplements which was used improvement of fish health and disease management and growth and survival promotion. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of Artemisia vulgaris L. on the growth and antioxidant activity in rainbow trout (Oncorhyncus mykiss L.). Artemisia vulgaris L. was incorporated into the diets of rainbow trout (20,48 ? 0,19--20,81 ?0.04 g) as powder (0.1%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 2.0%), and ethanol extracts 250, 1000 mg/kg. Results showed that dietary phytogenic supplementation improved (p<0,05) the final body weight, weight gain, specific growth rate, feed conversation ratio in compared to 0% (control)group. Fish fed diets containing 0.1% and 1% of A. vulgaris was better in feed conversation ratio in compared to 0% (control) and other concentrations (0.5%, 2.0%, 250 and 1000 mg/kg). Antioxidant properties were enhanced in Artemisia vulgaris L. treated groups compared with the 0%(control) group (p<0,05).
