Advantages and disadvantages of unregistered work in Poland

The main goal of the present research is to define the most important advantages and disadvantages of unregistered work. The research was performed in 2021 with the use of quantitative method, CATI technique, on a group of respondents reaching 600 unregistered unemployed. The sample was representative in terms of gender, age and province. With reference to advantages of unregistered work, the respondents assigned the highest rates to the factors related to the source of additional or basic means of maintenance, followed by improvement of the financial condition of their households and reduction of poverty. As the greatest disadvantage of unregistered work, the respondents indicated complete lack of health protection and unfavourable working conditions.
