Soil resources management involves the correct use, with high yield, of the lands for the purpose of producing goods, to meet ever-changing human needs, ensuring, at the same time, their long-term productive potential and the maintenance of environmental functionality. Implementation of measures to manage the risks of degradation, which through appropriate management practices, allow land users to maximize economic and social benefits, maintaining or even improving the ecological support functions of land resources.
