The paper reveals the essence of the systematic approach, outlines the basic principles of a systematic approach to solving problems of land use management, considers the features of system analysis in land use, discloses the research stages in the application of system analysis to solve practical problems in land use, sets out the basic requirements for land use models that give the ability to find the best choice from a variety of solutions.
