The synthetic sex pheromone of Eastern moth (Grapholitha molesta Busck.) was used for monitoring at a rate of 3 traps/plantation, and 10 traps/ha for pest number regulation by male mass trapping. The trapping fly data during the vegetation period shows, that the plum fruit moth under the conditions of Moldova is developed in three generations. The biological efficacy of the male mass trapping attained 52 to 69 %.
