Some aspects regarding the chemical control of parasitic entities producing cherry moniliosis in the Republic of Moldova

In this article is represented the information towards the systematic position and the biology of the fungi belonging to the genus Monilia, that attack the cherry tree, causing the monilial burn of the fruits, as well as the results of the state tasting of the new phytosanitary products against the fungi Monilia laxa and Monilia fructigena, like: CANTUS (“BASF SE”, Germany), Chorus 50 (“Syngenta Agro AG”, Switzerland and Indigo, SC (AO “Sciolkovo Agrohim”, Russia). The results reveal that in favorable conditions for the development of the pathogen agents, the tested products manifested a high biological efficiency, which allows the recommendation of the registration and inclusion of these products into the integrated system of protection the cherry plantations.
