Effects of EMBIO actinoPLUS bioorganic containing Streptomyces GanoSA1 on the growth of oil palm seedlings

The actinomycete, Streptomyces GanoSA1 has been identified to potentially reduce Ganoderma disease incidence in oil palm. The nursery trial was conducted to investigate the effect of EMBIO actinoPLUS bioorganic containing Streptomyces GanoSA1 on the growth of oil palm seedlings. The study was done in completely randomised design (CRD) with four replications. Two treatments were involved: seedlings untreated with actinoPLUS (as control) and seedlings treated with actinoPLUS (treatment 1). Results showed that seedlings treated actinoPLUS containing Streptomyces GanoSA1 powder did not give negative effect towards the growth of oil palm seedlings and has a better effect on plant and frond height, number of leaves as well as the chlorophyll content.
