Theoretical and practical aspects of natural grassland rejuvenation.

Under the conditions of lack of nutrients, the natural meadow grass gradually declines, the development of stems and leaves weakens and, accordingly, its yield falls. Rejuvenation (strengthening) of grass is considered to be very effective under conditions of improvement of living conditions. The surface treatment of the natural cord helps the viability of buried grass seeds, increases aeration and better assimilation of food. This method of meadow improvement is undoubtedly noteworthy in arable land use, as a good way to improve soil aeration and nutrition. Among the currently proven methods of meadow renewal, the loosening of the cord by milling and disk scraping is preferred, and the pinching of the hardened surface of the cord is neglected. In addition, in most cases, individual measures are characterized by less efficiency, therefore, sowing grasses along with weeding and watering is an effective means of renewing the natural cord and rejuvenating the grass.
