Study on growth, development and lactation of european breeds of goats adapted to Georgia.

The aim of this study was to investigate the adaptability, growth, development and productivity of high-yielding dairy breeds (Saanen and Alpine) brought from Europe to Georgia. Goat farms in the suburbs of Rustavi and in the village of Galavani, Mtskheta municipality were studied, involving up to 100 goats, both adult and young. To observe the goat growth cycle, the method of taking ten major measurements, and the control milking experiment to determine lactation productivity were used. Based on the analysis of the materials obtained by us, we can conclude that the mentioned breeds are characterized by high genetic potential, which is confirmed by their ability to adapt well to different environments and maintenance conditions. And for the growth and development and health of productive data, it is necessary to provide them with a full-value, balanced fodder base and better care conditions.
