The synergistic effect of insecticides and plant extracts in the control of Brassica olerace Aphid insects

The study was carried out in the laboratory of pesticides in Plant Production Dept. Faculty of agriculture / Damascus University. during 2019-2020 . The study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of ethanol plant extracts from leaves of Inula viscos L , Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh., Melia azedarach and Tagete spatula L. and pesticides, Thiamethoxam (Neonicotinoids), Chlorpyrifos-ethyl (Organophosphates), on Brevicoryne brassicae Linnaeus, 1758, and Myzus persicae (Sulzer) (Hemipter: Aphididae), Azadirachtin (Nime oil) and Cypermethrin (Pyrethroids). Results proved that ethanol extract of I. viscos and E. camaldulensis, leaves significantly superior on the all other extracts treatments on the insect of Brevicoryne brassicae and Myzus persicae. Also, Thiamethoxam insecticides was significantly superior on the all other pesticides treatments. Efficacy of the tested ethanol plant extracts and pesticides insecticides increased by increase the concentrations and concentration. Results showed that the LC50 values obtained for B. brassicae and M. persicae after 48 h were, (591.17&920.15) , (658.41&599.59),( 816.32&1578.78) and (2366.87&3258.7) ppm for I. viscos, E. camaldulensis, M. azedarach and T. spatula respectively. Where, he LC50=(151.54& 81.41), (180.36&99.69), (220.50 &111.59)and (265.32&146.74) ppm values for Thiamethoxam , chlorpyriphos ethyl, Cypermethrin and Azadirachtin respectively.In addition, carried out field experiment for evolution effect the use tested pesticides and extracts plant as alone or as mixture on Brevicoryne brassicae. Use mixture of pesticides and extracts plant gave the higher effect on B. brassicae. Comparative with pesticides and extracts plant as alone. We can recommend by application the mixture pesticides and extracts plant in control of Aphid insect
