Livestock in Aksaray Province holds an important place in the social and economic fields. Malaklı dogs are integrated into the structure of the region's livestock, mostly grown as a shepherd dog. Race preservation, breeding and registration should be required by the completed of studies on genetic characterization of the Malaklı dog, hereditary disease detection and screening, phylogenetic analysis, genealogical registration process with the DNA profile. In this study, genetic materials of Malaklı dogs, which were specific to Aksaray, were taken, synthesized, checked of health status, stored as banking purposes and opened to the use of genetic material issues with other stakeholders.
