Path analysis in lentil (Lens culinaris Med.)

The relationship between seed yield and seven agronomic traits was studied by correlation and path analysis in 40 elite mutant lines in one season. There was a strong direct effect of the number of pods/plant on seed yield. Plant height and the number of branches were the next highest contributors towards seed yield
