Stability for seed protein in chickpea

In 2 sets of experiments 26 genotypes of chickpea (Cicer arietinum Linn.) were grown at 6 locations (Junagadh, Arnej, Dohad, Anand, Bharuch and Tanchha), representing different agro-climatic situations. All the genotypes differed significantly in their seed proteins in different environments. Environment (linear) and genotype X environment (linear) interaction were also significant in both the sets. On the basis of stability analysis, genotypes 'Chaffa', 'Dohad Yellow', 'ICCC 4', 'JG 315', 'P326' and 'RSG 143' were found stable, with 20% protein content
