82 Hamadani ewes and their offspring during two seccessive years (1983-1985) were used to evaluate the use of their partial milk yield, milk fat or protein content in obtaining prediction equations of total milk yield and lamb growth during suckling period and found that milk fat and protein percentage showed positive significant regression coefficient upon total milk yield, however, partial milk1214 yield especially during the first four weeks of lactation gave more accurate measure for showing higher regression coeffic
