The efficiencies of a modified Berlese-Tullgren funnel and a trap host plant (Kidney bean) for separating the overwintering adult of two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, were tested by adding adults in the fallen apple1608leaves. The separation percentage of a modified B-T funnel was about 16-64, and was varied with number of adults added and moisture content in the leaves. But the separation percentage of a trap host plant was about 72-86 without regard to number of adults added and moisture content. Therefore the method of a trap host plant seemed to be more efficient than of a modified B-T funnel for separating the overwintering adults of two-spotted spider mite in the fallen apple lea
