Studies on diagnosis of micronutrient status in paddy soils of mangyong river area, 1; the distribution of micronutrients (Zn, Cu, Mn, Fe) in paddy soils
1987
Kwon, T.O. (Rural Development Administration, Iri (Korea R.). Honam Crops Experiment Station) | Eun, M.Y. (Rural Development Administration, Suwon (Korea R.). Agricultural Science Inst.)
About 23 % of the soils tested have shown lower Zn content than "critical value". The Cu and Mn contents of all the soils seemed to be adequate, but Fe contents were very excessive for rice production. Higher contents of Zn, Cu, Mn and Fe in soils were found in fluvio-marine deposits than in alluvium and local alluvium soils. The amount of micronutrient in soils was negatively related to soil reaction (pH) and phosphorus contents of soils, however positively related to organic matter content, C.E.C., and clay content of soils
