Results disclosed that neither the rates of fertilizer nor the distance of planting significantly affected the weight of fruits and the length. The number of fruits per plot was significantly affected by the distance of planting. Plants were spaced at 100 x 100 cm. The length of vine at maturity was significantly affected by levels of fertilizer but not by the different spacings. Application of 600 kg N-P-K per hectare produced the longest vine
