The author of the paper applied statistical methods in analysing results of research on the content of phosphorus, potassium and sorption capacity in the soil layer within one forest site type. The description of a stand vegetal cover and soil was made on the area examined. The analyses of nutrient decomposit1691ion exchange capacity and granulometric composition showed local variations of the examined features of a given forest
