Sensitivity of Str. [Streptococcus] agalactiae and Staph. [Staphylococcus] aureus strains isolated from men and animals to selected beta-lactam antibiotics

Str. agalactiae strains isolated from cows with mastitis were sensitive to penicillin G in 92.2% and to cloxacillin in 62.1%. These figures for human isolates were 100 and 87.5%, resp. The same figures for Staph. aureus were 90.1 and 69.8% in cows and 36.0 and 96.0% in men, resp.
