Investigations on the use of swine cracklings in feeding rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri Rich.)

The feeding experiment, taking into account five feed mixes, was conducted on older rainbow trout fry in an aquarium of 1,480 liters capacity. The content of cracklings in the mixes ranged from 10 to 27%. Results of the experiments showed the possibility of substituting a defined amount of fish meal with swine cracklings. The optimal content of cracklings as a substitute of fish meal in feed mixes was 10% (Poland)
