Effect of different amounts of soya bean straw in mixtures of concentrates for fattening young bulls on the conversion of food, gain, performance and production economy

hOn the basis of the achieved experimental results it can be concluded that 15% of the soybean hay in the concentrate mash (on the part of maize and sugar beet dry pulps), enables approximately the same daily weight gain, food conversion, quantity of tallow, slaughtering yield and the cost of 1 kg of weight gain with the fattening young cattle both in the control and the experimental group. Somewhat poorer results have been obtained in feeding young cattle with 20% of soybean hay but concerning a number of possibilities in using maize, it is socially justified to fatten young cattle with this quantity of soybean hay in the concentrate mash.
