Discussion on the structure of Picea crassifalia on northern slope of Qilian Mountains
1988
Liu Xingcong (Gansu Agricultural Univ., Lanzhou (China). Dept. of Forestry)
By using the method of six trees in round sample plot, 281 sample rounds of Picea crassifalia and 6744 data from six sets of tree pairs on spacing in the rows, interspace and radius of crowns have been investigated. According to their dispersed law that was analysed statistically, the relationship between round sample plot and crown closure, and the structure of age of stand and factors of tree measuring have been shown. The results obtained could be used as theoretical basics for better managing and exploring the water resource conservation forest on northern slope of Qilian Mountain.
