Seasonal abundance of major predators, Orius spp. Deraecoris pallens (Reut) and Geocoris pallidiparis (C.) was investigated. Spring activities started in May and terminated in July while in fall plantation they were observed from September up to the end of November. The abundance was affected by the species involved and the type of host plant; Orius spp, and D. pallens showed higher density on squash and cucumber of the spring plantation, while the predator G. pallidiparis showed equal distribution on cucumber and melon (local showki Var.) In fall plantation the predator Orius Prius spp showed higher density on snake cucumber followed by melon varieties. The predator D. pallens appeared to prefer melon. (local showki Var.)
