Field trials were carried out with sweet strains of white lupins (Lupinus albus L.) at Valprados, near Macedo de Cavaleiros, at Vairao, near Porto and S. Pedro de Merelim, near Braga. Average seed yields from competition trials among EAN strains ranged from 1823 Kg ha-1 (strain 357-2) to 2030 Kg ha-1 (strain 893-7). Average seed yields from plant density trials using strain 804-4 ranged from 1810 Kg ha-1 to 2618 Kg ha-1 (author)
