In the successive field experiments with maize during 1986, 1987, the chemical composition of maize grains as affected by sulphur and/or biofertilizers application was investigated. The grains content of N, P, K, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu was determined under the various treatments. The combined effect of elemental sulphur and biofertiziers was superior to the single effect (Sole application of elemental sulphur or biofertilizers). It seems also that application of PDB + sulphur oxidation bacteria (SOB) being higher than that of single effect of PDB or SOB.
