Of four herbicides tested, Eptam was highly phytotoxic to ush", wheras Diurex at 480 g a.i./ha provided the best combination of weed control and selectivity towards sesame. Diurex refurbished the morphological structure of the plant and increased yield by 25.5, up to 3584kg seed per ha.
