The residual influence of an application of power station ash on alternation of physical and chemical properties of alluvial gley soil was examined. The power station ash does not deteriorate unambiguously physical properties of NPg. Ash reduces the volume weight value and increases the porosity. It is necessary to pay special attention to the content of heavy metals in the soil because it can intoxicate the plant production and all the elements of the food chain.
