Further experiences on machines for alveolate containers mechanization in nurseries [Tuscany]

anglais. The "Istituto di Meccanica Agraria" of Pisa University has carried out a long-term research project investigating mechanized alveolate trays displacement in nurseries. Investigation of various machines which might be adapted for use in Italian nurseries, characterized by heterogenous production, led to the construction and testing of prototypes. These satisfied a number of prerequisites: they were cheap, easy to use and produce, sturdy, and led to an improved work performance. The trials, carried out in a Tuscan nursery farm, tested how the prototypes measured up to the pre-established objectives. The machines with extensible planes gave particularly interesting results

Lo sviluppo di agevolatrici per la movimentazione di contenitori alveolari in polistirolo su bancali, e' stato oggetto di una ricerca poliennale presso l'Istituto di Meccanica Agraria di Pisa. L'attenzione rivolta verso macchine che si possano adattare alle eterogenee tipologie nelle aziende vivaistiche italiane, ha portato alla realizzazione e sperimentazione di prototipi che soddisfano una serie di requisiti quali economicita', semplicita' di uso e di realizzazione, robustezza, buon aumento della capacita' di lavoro degli operatori (in termini di contenitori alveolati/ora x U.L.). Le prove, effettuate presso un'azienda vivaistica Toscana, hanno permesso di verificare la rispondenza delle agevolatrici sperimentate agli obiettivi prefissati.
