(Possibilities to forecast the consequences of supposed changes in the climate to the carbon-nitrogen dynamics in the soil)

In this paper a method is presented how to derive possible climate scenarios for future times at different locations. The scenarios shall be used for simulating the consequences of the supposed anthropogene climate change on the carbon-nitrogen-dynamics in soil. The method bases on results of a global climate model the German Climate Computer Centre at Hamburg, given at some knot points. For common locations the scenarios are created with help of a statistical weather generator representing the present state of climate. The generator parameters are updated according to the global climate model results with a spatial interpolation algorithm
