Pelz, A.-F. (Rostock Univ. (Germany). Agrarwissenschaftliche Fakultaet. Fachgebiet Phytomedizin)
In oil-seed rape of standardized double quality the influence of growth inhibitors has been studied in respect to the population density of Pratylenchus spp. and Tylenchorhynchus spp., respectively. Specimens of plots from soil and roots treated with and without growth inhibitors were analysed from 1988 to 1991. The density of the two genera of nematodes was remarkably increased in the specimens from plots with growth inhibitors. These findings are statistically significant Pratylenchus spp. alpha below 0.001; Tylenchorhynchus spp. alpha below 0.01
