A population of 95-200 kangaroos was studied for 11 years, in 300ha of wandoo woodland with easy access to adjacent farmlands. The use of farmland generally, and by individuals, was variable. Crops were favoured for grazing in the order lupin, barley, wheat, oats; removal of biomass varying from 95 to 24 percent. Crops planted more than 400m from woodland were unaffected.
