Distribution of seagrass in the Moreton region from Coolangatta to Noosa [Queensland]

Seagrass beds in the Coolangatta to Noosa region were surveyed, mapped and area measured between August and December, 1987. Seven species of seagrass were identified, 14 170 ha of meadows and 12 500 ha of sparse or patchy seagrass were found. Recovery in Deception Bay and Pumicestone Passage was evident.
