Tobacco weed - not new, but spreading

Tobacco weed has been known in the central sugarcane district of Queensland for at least 20 years, but until recently it has not been recognised as a particular threat. In the past few years, an upsurge of the weed in the Plane Creek area has caused some concern. The background and impact of the new threat is discussed.
