There are currently nine active Marketing Boards in New South Wales, all of which were established under the Marketing of Primary Products Act, 1927. This Act has now been replaced by the Marketing of Primary Products Act, 1983, which passed both Houses of the New South Wales Parliament on 1st December, 1983. The new Act commenced on 1st February, 1984
